PCEA Joy Valley was founded on February 25, 2024, by Rev. Phillip Gichuri, the then Moderator of Nairobi North Presbytery. Since then, the church has become part of Kasarani West Parish, with members drawn from four districts that initially belonged to PCEA Kasarani Church.
