PCMF
Origin
At the 1973 General Assembly, the Report on Stewardship noted a significant interest from men to form their own organization. This organization aimed to unite men as a Christian force for fellowship, exchanging ideas on faith, witness, and service to Jesus Christ and others. A resolution was passed (Min. 1154 MEN’S ORGANISATION), instructing the Stewardship Committee to draft a suitable constitution. However, this resolution was not implemented until 1987. The Session of St. Andrews Church Nairobi recognized the need to strengthen congregational witness and decided to form a men’s organization.
Membership
Membership is open to every man who joins the Church. It is structured into three key levels:
Admitted Member (Card Level):
The entry level, where members receive a membership card and are introduced to a holistic journey of spiritual and social grounding on Godly values.
Dedicated Member (Badge Level):
After notable progress at the Card Level and registration in the Holy Communion Register, members are awarded a Badge, symbolizing a cherished ambassador position.
Commissioned Member (Tie Level):
Full membership is granted at a church ceremony officiated by the Minister, where members also receive a Maroon Blazer.
